Sign up & first login

This page walks you through creating a Beacon account and logging in for the first time. It takes about 5 minutes.

Before you start

  • A working email address you can check immediately (you’ll need to click a verification link).
  • A name for your organization (the name that will appear on your invoices and in your dashboard).

You don’t need a credit card. Every account starts with a 21-day free trial that includes full access to every feature.

Step 1 — Open the sign-up page

Visit beacon.softagility.com and click Sign up in the top-right corner.

You’ll see a form titled “Welcome to SoftAgility Beacon.”

Step 2 — Fill in the form

Organization NameRequired. The name of your company or team. Appears on invoices and at the top of your dashboard.
EmailRequired. Must be unique across all Beacon accounts — if you’ve previously signed up with this email, you’ll be prompted to log in instead.
PasswordRequired. Minimum 12 characters.

You may also see a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge below the form. Complete it if shown — it protects Beacon from automated abuse.

Click Create account when the form is complete.

Step 3 — Check your email

After you submit, the form is replaced by a confirmation:

Thank you for signing up! We’ve sent a verification link to your-email@example.com. Click the link to activate your account and get started.

The verification email arrives within a few seconds with the subject line Welcome to SoftAgility Beacon — Verify your email. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder or click Resend email on the confirmation screen.

You can’t log in until you’ve clicked the verification link. See Verify your email for what happens next.

Step 4 — Log in for the first time

Once your email is verified:

  1. Return to beacon.softagility.com.
  2. Click Sign in in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter the email and password you registered with.
  4. Click Sign in.

You’ll land on the Overview page — your Beacon dashboard. It will be empty for now (no events have been ingested yet). Continue with First Setup to start tracking your first event.

Common questions

I never received the verification email. Check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, click Resend email on the confirmation screen, or try the resend flow. If it’s still missing after a few minutes, the email may have been blocked by your provider — contact support@softagility.com.

I’m getting “An account with this email address already exists.” You’ve already signed up. Click Sign in instead on the form to log in, or Reset your password if you’ve forgotten it.

Can I change my organization name later? Yes. Once logged in, go to Settings → Organization to update the name. Your invoices update on the next billing cycle.
